WELSH GOVERNMENT REGULATORY JUDGEMENT – CARDIFF YMCA HOUSING ASSOCIATION

27th March 2019

Over the past year Cardiff YMCA Housing Association has been working with the Welsh Government in order for a Regulatory Judgement to be issued inline with  Part 1 of the Housing Act 1996 to regulate Registered Social Landlords.

As of March 2019 the organisation has been granted a Co-Regulation Status of “Increased” for both Governance and Financial Viability. Below is the Regulatory Judgement Report in both English and Welsh.

“We have worked closely with the regulator throughout this process and would like to reassure our tenants and residents that our services across Cardiff remain unaffected by this judgement.

We now look forward to consolidating our services and governance arrangements in the coming period.”  –  Andrew Templeton (Chief Executive Officer).
