ASR Projects Announced as Headline Sponsor for YMCA Cardiff’s Sleep Easy 2024

YMCA Cardiff is proud to announce ASR Projects as the headline sponsor for Sleep Easy 2024, an event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to combat homelessness in our community. ASR Projects, a multi-disciplinary construction company established in 2010 by David Morgan and Rachel Morgan, has been a longstanding partner of YMCA Cardiff, sharing a commitment to building better, building what matters.

Notably, ASR Projects recently refurbished Café 180 and is currently spearheading the construction of Bedford Place, a landmark 18-bed apartment complex designed to offer safe and secure accommodation for young people at risk of homelessness in Cardiff.

Sleep Easy 2024: A Night to Make a Difference

Sleep Easy challenges participants to spend one night sleeping somewhere other than their bed – in a garden, office, or at the YMCA Plas Community Centre Cardiff – to experience a small part of what it’s like for those who sleep rough every night. This event aims to raise vital funds to support YMCA Cardiff’s work in providing shelter, support, and opportunities to those in need.

This year’s event is particularly special, as all funds raised will go towards furnishing Bedford Place, which is set to open in early 2025. This complex will not only provide a modern and safe environment for its residents but will also offer on-site support services and opportunities for community integration, making it a beacon of hope for young people in Cardiff.
