YMCA Plas operates for the benefit of the community. All proceeds from room hire are used to improve on-site facilities.

The centre offers:

  • a large multi-purpose Sports Hall
  • community/training/meeting rooms in a range of sizes
  • on-site car parking
  • Wi-Fi

YMCA Plas is based at 2 Shakespeare Street, Plasnewydd, Cardiff, CF24 3ES and is easy to access by road, rail and bus.

Any teas and coffee provided will be £1.50 per head. Catering can also be provided for conference/training functions – please enquire at the time of booking.

Groups are welcome to bring their own food, but will need to sign a disclaimer form.

We cannot guarantee that we will have enough tables and chairs to accommodate numbers, above are the maximum capacities of attendants in each room.

Centre users should not move tables or chairs between rooms. Please ensure groups keep to the above room capacities with regular walkabouts.

(All prices will be reviewed February 2024 – all groups will be informed of any increase by March 1st, 2024, given 4 weeks’ notice of any increases).
