Opportunities to gain qualifications, skills and employment.

YMCA Cardiff Housing Association works with a variety of partner agencies to provide education, training, and volunteering or employment opportunities. Within the Support Team we have specific workers who are dedicated to meeting the training and education needs of our residents. This work is carried out via one to one support work sessions, within DFL (drop-in and resource centre) and via working with our Aspire Project Coordinator.

Sexual Health Outreach: Healthy Relationships

YMCA Cardiff provides a tailored, specialist and confidential Sexual Health and Relationship Service for young people aged 11-25 in Cardiff. We also support organisations and schools across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan with sexual health training and information and advice on how they can support young people with their sexual health needs.

The Sexual Outreach Team also provides training for the C-Card Scheme. If you are interested in delivering the C-Card Scheme or would like more information about the Scheme, please contact George at george.grindle@ymcacardiff.wales.

YMCA Plas is currently a base for Adult Learning Wales and Trinity St Davids to offer learning programmes in the community. There are also a range of classes and activities provided by other external groups. If you would like to know more or book one of our rooms for hire please get in touch on 029 2046 4463.
