The YMCA runs a very successful Private Rented Scheme. The scheme has enabled us to provide an additional housing option to meet the move-on needs of our Service Users.
Landlords and Tenants are offered a bond certificate or cash bonds, rent in advance and support to help set up the tenancy. Both parties have access to advice and support from our designated PRS Team throughout the life of the tenancy.
Who can stay?
YMCA residents who have been through a minimum 14 weeks assessment process showing good payment history and no conduct issues.
Are you an interested landlord?
We currently manage a number of properties and are able to take the stress away from the landlords. The scheme has been running since 2011 with over 125 housed.
