Housing

Providing a home and personalised support services for a fresh start in life.

YMCA Cardiff welcomes people from age 18 onwards and exists to help them belong, contribute and thrive. We are committed to providing personalised support and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness. We understand that every person’s journey is unique, and our comprehensive approach reflects that.

Our Services:

  • In-depth Assessments: We begin with a thorough assessment to tailor a support plan to each individual’s specific needs.
  • Wrap-around Support: Our services are holistic, covering all aspects of life, from housing and employment to emotional well-being.
  • Person-Led Action Plans: We work collaboratively with each individual to set achievable goals and develop a path toward independent living.
  • Multi-Language Support: We offer support in multiple languages to ensure that all community members can access our services.
  • Empowerment Focus: Our goal is to equip individuals with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in the community.

Pathway to Independence:

Our move-on pathway guides individuals through our services, with the ultimate goal of securing independent housing through our Private Rented Scheme.

How to Access Our Services:

Referrals to our hostel are made exclusively through Cardiff Council’s Single Person’s Gateway.
